Eid-el-Fitr: Buhari urges Muslims to remain steadfast in prayers

Senator Abdulfatai Buhari representing Oyo North Senatorial district on Saturday urged Muslim faithful to remain steadfast in their prayers and supplications to Almighty Allah, who is capable of making everything possible.

The All Progressives Congress (APC) chieftain gave this admonition while felicitating with Nigerians , especially muslims on this year eid filtri which marks the end of the holy month of Ramadan 2020.

According to the lawmaker,  “we should not limit our service to Almighty Allah to Ramadan period, but be more consistent and be at peace with every member of the society irrespective of our religious and political affiliation.

“As we celebrate this year eid el fitri, let us remember the victims of COVID-19 in our prayers and pray to Almighty Allah to heal our land of the pandemic which is ravaging the whole world now”.

While urging Nigerians to obey the guidelines laid down by the government on COVID -19, Buhari also advised them to always ensure social distancing, regular hand washing or use of sanitizers and avoid public gathering.

Speakin further, the Ogbomoso born politician also use the occasion to reinstate his commitment to the qualitative representation and development of his constituency.
