Cristiano Ronaldo’s son sign for Juventus just like his Dad

Cristiano Ronaldo is not the only one settling into life at Juventus.

The legendary striker’s son Cristiano Jr has also just signed a deal for the Old Lady – albeit their under-9 side.

According to Calciomercato , Ronaldo’s partner Georgina Rodriguez was present to watch the little lad, 8, as he played alongside Andrea Barzagli’s son Mattia.

And proud dad Cristiano senior hopes he has a chance of making it.

Last season Ronaldo’s overhead strike against new club Juventus inspired millions of kids and big kids alike to dust off those boots and try the acrobatics for themselves… and none more so than his own son.

While most would have been practising their overhead kicks in their back gardens, Cristiano Jr attempted to emulate his old man on the Bernabeu turf after the Madrid derby last March.

And that sort of skill got dad purring.

The Juventus star told DAZN via SportingNews : “[Cristiano Jnr] is very competitive, he’s like me when I was young.

“He doesn’t like to lose and he will be like me, I’m sure, 100 per cent.

“I like to teach him some stuff, but he’s going to be whatever he wants and I’m always going to support him.

“But of course I want Cristiano to be a football player, because I think he has that drive. He has a good body, he’s fast, he has skills, he shoots good.”

The 33-year-old’s arrival in Turin has been tipped to take Juve to the next level, particularly in Europe.

His debut drew huge viewing figures in Italy but UK fans hoping to catch a glimpse of his home debut will have to wait.

Ronaldo dressed his family in Juventus kits as they settle to life in Turin.

The Portuguese superstar made his debut in a victory over Chievo as Juve ran out 3-2 winners.

And ahead of his home debut against Lazio on Saturday, Ronaldo has posed for an adorable family snap.

While Ronaldo’s son Cristiano Jnr. is used to the limelight, images of twins Eva and Matteo – and daughter Alana Martina – have been few and far between.

But Ronaldo’s four children were all dressed in Juventus home kits as the Portuguese superstar and partner Georgina Rodriguez wore the away strip.

Ronaldo captioned the heartwarming picture “The Bianconera family” – in tribute to Juventus’ nickname.
