COVID-19: Ibadan Poly Fumigates Students’ Hostels {Photos}

As part of efforts aimed at checkmating the world rampaging pandemic, Coronavirus also known as COVID-19, the authorities of The Polytechnic, Ibadan has fumigated the residential facilities of the students at the institution.

The Students’  hostels included: Olori Hall, Ramat Hall, Unity Hall and Orisun Hall.

In a release signed by the  institution’s  registrar, Mrs. Modupe  Fawale,  the  fumigation exercise commenced   last  Saturday and ended  Wednesday.
According to the statement, the Director of Works and Services, Engr. Stephen Ipadeola who supervised the fumigation informed that the intention of the Professor Kazeem Adekunle ADEBIYI led management is to join forces with the state Governor to drive the COVID-19 pandemic out of the state.
He said whenever the students resumes, the intention of the management is to prepare an environment that is not only virus free, but also free of all forms of infectious diseases.
Ipadeola, however disclosed that the management would also make arrangements to fumigate lecture theatres and offices within the shortest possible time.
