• urges Nigerians to pray against coronavirus
The General Overseer of Christ Love Family Ministry, (CLOFAM) Aba -Layan, Apata in Ibadan, Prophet Victor Omoyele has distributed food items as palliative measure to cushion the hardship that the stay-at-home order has brought upon the people inorder to curtail the spread of COVID-19.
Communities that benefited from the gesture included Apata, Kuola, Alexander, Jankata, Bembo, Oloko, Balayan, among others.
While distributing the items, Prophet Omoyele noted that the gesture will assist both the government and the general public in making sure that the stay at home directives of the government will not bring hardship to the less privileged in the society.
He said CLOFAM decided to assist the needy because people are facing a lot of challenges at this crucial moment.
“It is important for men of God to care for the welfare of their members and make sure that their well being is of paramount importance to them”, he said.
According to him, “It’s unfair for men of God to be keeping thousands and millions of naira in their bank accounts and people in their domain will be suffering. I decided to empty my account so as to make sure that people within my immediate environment do not die of hunger all because of the disease called CORONAVIRUS”.
He further called on all well meaning Nigerians to join hands with the government to assist the less privileged, just as he urged the citizens of the state to cooperate with the Seyi Makinde led administration in combating the CORONAVIRUS pandemic.
Prophet Omoyele, however tasked ministers of God to pray for Nigeria, adding that the devil is using the virus to disturb the peace in the entire world. He assured that the scourge of coronavirus will soon recede.
