The sixth paragraph of a story, published Saturday, July 31, 2021, on our platform, Mega Icon Magazine (www.megaiconmagazine.com) with the headline: ‘Akande, Olabiyi, Adesina, four ex-chairmen unite for APC Congress’ was mistakenly reported as, “The only notable personality in the APC in the council area who was conspicuously absent in the exercise was the Commissioner for Lands and Housing under Governor Abiola Ajimobi, Hon. Jiboye Omodewu.” This paragraph might have misled our readers.
The paragraph should have read, “The only notable personality in the APC in the council area who was not seen when our crew visited his ward was the Commissioner for Lands and Housing under Governor Abiola Ajimobi, Hon. Jiboye Omodewu.
The interpretation of this is that Mr. Jiboye Omodewu might have participated in the Ward Congress exercise before the arrival of our crew, thus, Mega Icon Magazine deeply regrets the error and the embarrassment caused to Mr. Jiboye Omodewu.
Also, Mega Icon Magazine would like to apologize to Mr. Jiboye Omodewu. The said paragraph has been retracted.
