Barcelona paid a visit to to third-tier Real Murcia in the Copa del Rey on Tuesday night… and left the dressing room an absolute mess.

The Catalan giants started their defence of the Spanish Cup with a 3-0 win in the first leg of their last-32 clash thanks to goals from Paco Alcacer, Gerard Deulofeu and Jose Arnaiz.

Barca have won the Copa del Rey in each of the last three seasons and a much-changed side got this year’s campaign off to the perfect start.

But it was the state of the dressing room that caught the eye in the aftermath, with a clutch of left-over food and an overspilling bin.

Ernesto Valverde’s side have enjoyed an impressive start to the season following their humbling at the hands of Clasico rivals Real Madrid in the Spanish Super Cup.

They have won eight and drawn one of their opening nine La Liga fixtures and won each of their three Champions League games.
