The National Secretariat of the party had, earlier, through he  national secretary of caretaker committee of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Senator John James Akpan Udoedehe during a meeting held with the Oyo APC stakeholders in Abuja, directed that 11 leaders of the party in the state  including Ex-Governor Adebayo Alao-Akala, two former deputies governor, Chief Iyiola Oladokun, Chief Moses Alake-Adeyemo, Seven Zonal leaders and Caretaker Chairman, Chief Oke to midwife a harmonised list that is acceptable to all the stakeholders.

It was, however, observed that the Chairman of the Oyo State All Progressives Congress (APC) committee,

Lawan Gambo, was no where in sight at the party Secretariat as  Oke delivered the list.
