Christmas: Ayandele distributes food items, cash worth N24m to party members {Photos}

A chieftain of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Oyo State, Dr. Olusola Ayandele on Thursday, distributed food items, cash worth N24 million to party leaders and 99 wards in Oyo South Senatorial District.

Ayandele said the effort was to join party faithfuls in the celebration of christmas and New Year.

Items distributed included 500 bags of rice, 200 turkey, 200 chickens and cash gifts across the Zsenatorial district.

Oyo Senatorial District  houses nine local governments namely Ibadan South-West, Ibadan South-East, Ibadan North, Ibadan North-West, Ibadan North-East, Ido, Ibarapa Central, Ibarapa East and Ibarapa North.

The Senatorial aspirant added that the items were distributed across the wards to celebrate the birth of Jesus Christ and the New Year.

He said that the items and cash gifts totalling N24 million was distributed to leaders as well as members in the 99 wards irrespective of religious beliefs.

Speaking further, Ayandele noted  that the message of Christmas was that where there is hope, love, light and life, the plan and purpose of God will reach.

“This items distributed is to express my love and celebrate the goodness of God with everyone at this festive period,” he said.
