Chelsea has agreed to a deal to sign Dutch youth international Jayden Braaf, according to his agent.
The Blues have been tracking the 15-year-old PSV Eindhoven forward for some time and were one of three Premier League giants looking to land the attacker.
Manchester United and Manchester City had also made an approach to bring him to England, but he has reached a verbal agreement with Antonio Conte’s side instead.
West Ham, Bayern Munich and Ajax had all been monitoring his progress after impressing both at club and youth international level, however, his uncle and agent Stefano van Delden confirmed he would be moving to Stamford Bridge.
‘We have reached an agreement in principle for Jayden to join Chelsea,’ he told the Sun.
‘But it is a verbal agreement.
‘Nothing has yet been put in writing.’
Braaf, who came through Ajax’s academy, can play on the wing as well as in the central striking role.
He’s the second young star Chelsea have signed this week, after agreeing to a deal for Crewe Alexandra’s George Nunn.
