Breaking news: Oyo, Osun releases white paper on LAUTECH.

GOVERNORS of Oyo and Osun, Abiola Ajimobi and Rauf Aregbesola today released the White Paper on the report of the Visitation Panel of Inquiry into the Ladoke Akintola University of Technology (LAUTECH), imbroglio, Mega Icon Magazine exclusively gathered.

The visitation panel led by a far famed legal luminary, Chief Wole Olanipekun SAN which examined, among other issues, the immediate and remote causes of the incessant crisis affecting the citadel of learning submitted its report to the Government on 10th February, 2017. Following the receipt of the report, the owner-State Governors  set up a committee to prepare a draft White Paper.

Mega Icon Magazine reliably gathered that the White Paper sets out the views and decisions of the governments on all the recommendations that have been made to it by the Visitation Panel, while all recommendations that are within the purview of the governments, can be accepted, noted or rejected.

According to sources, the white paper is a blueprint to end the crisis confronting LAUTECH and marks a significant change in the government’s approach to provide all the answers to the imbroglio as well as proffering an enduring solution to the challenges facing the institution.
