Barcelona are reportedly set for a huge cash injection by selling the naming rights to the Nou Camp in a deal worth £364million.
The 99,534-capacity stadium is set to undergo a revamp in time for 2022 and the Blaugrana are keen to capitalise on their on-pitch success by bringing in extra revenue.
Barca had initially set the price for naming rights at around £242million, but have now been given permission to increase the fee, report Fox Sports.
The Catalan giants are currently touring the US – a market they are keen to tap into and potentially attract a Stateside company to purchase the naming rights.
Any name change would coincide with the renovation of the Nou Camp – nicknamed ‘Barca Space’.
It is set to increase the capacity of Barcelona’s famous home while also improving the facilities around the stadium.
Barca’s off-field revenue streams are impressive with recent figures showing they made a record £252million from sponsorship, more than Manchester United and Clasico rivals Real Madrid.
Neither United or Real have sold their naming rights, but Premier League sides such as Arsenal and Manchester City have benefited from doing so.
