Minister for Youth and Sports, Hon. Sunday Dare has enjoined students of his alma mater; Baptist High School Jos, to imbibe the spirit of hardwork and focus on excellence so as to excel in all their academic and future challenges.

Dare, who graduated from the school in 1983, some 38 years ago gave the charge while speaking at the commencement of the celebrations of the school’s 60th anniversary.

He charged  the excited students to aim high and work towards their dreams so that they can also become worthy ambassadors of the school.

Speaking further, the minister noted that the federal government is unrelenting in its efforts to ensure a safe and conducive learning environment  for all schools in the country.

He, however encouraged the school to increase sporting activities and look out for talents who will represent the nation in the future.

Earlier, the management of the school described Dare as their pride, an inspiration and a beacon of hope to the students, who someday through commitment and studiousness will also achieve giant strides like he has done.
