Arsenal are giving consideration into naming the West Stand the Arsene Wenger Stand at the Emirates
ARSENAL are considering naming a stand at the Emirates after boss Arsene Wenger.
The Gunners manager will call time on his 22-year stint at the club at the end of the season.
And like Manchester United did with Sir Alex Ferguson, Arsenal are looking at renaming their West Stand, according to reports.
Arsenal shareholder Darren revealed on Twitter: “Arsenal are giving consideration into naming the West Stand the Arsene Wenger Stand at the Emirates.”
Wenger won three Premier League titles and seven FA Cups during his time at the club.
The Red Devils renamed their North Stand the Sir Alex Ferguson Stand in 2011 to recognise the Scot’s 25 years at the club.
