Ogbeni Rauf Aregbesola, the governor of the State of Osun has congratulated the Arole Oodua and Ooni of Ife, Ooni Adeyeye Enitan Ogunwusi, Ojaja II on his 44th birthday, adding that the reign of the African foremost monarch has brought peace and unprecedented development to Yorubaland.
Governor Aregbesola in a congratulatory letter to Ooni, which he personally signed, copies of which were sighted by newsmen in Osogbo on Tuesday, noted that despite the enormous challenges associated with leadership, Ooni has acquainted himself well.
The governor said while attaining the age of 44 for Ooni is remarkable, making positive impacts on the society by the foremost royal father remains cardinal.
The letter further reads, “I join the Oduduwa Household, your entire subjects and other well wishers across the country and in the diaspora to felicitate with you on this attainment.
“It is incontrovertible that the challenges of leadership are quite enormous but we thank Almighty God for seeing you through.
“Since you assumed the throne of your forefathers, Ife people and indeed Yorubaland has witnessed unprecedented peace and development.”
