Antoine Griezmann has vowed to join David Beckham on his MLS adventure – providing the former England man wants him.
Beckham announced the name of his new franchise as Inter Miami this week, and plans are afoot to get the club into competitive action in 2020.
And Atletico Madrid hitman Griezmann has revealed he would be prepared for a move across the pond to join the Florida-based team.
Griezmann said to L’Equipe: “If Beckham wants me in his club, then I’ll go.
“I want to finish my career in the US. I don’t know yet if it’s going to be in Miami or Los Angeles.
“They are two great cities. I like the mentality and the show culture of the US.”
Griezmann is still only 27-years of age, suggesting that a move to the MLS is still some way off.
But the news will be welcomed by Beckham, with Griezmann already a World Cup winner with France, and a prolific goal scorer in the Spanish La Liga.
Beckham has ran into a number of problems in the establishment of his Miami franchise, with his plans for a stadium being knocked back a handful of times already.
