Antoine Griezmann has turned down Manchester United and has agreed a deal with Barcelona, according to reports.

The France international was one of Jose Mourinho’s top targets last summer but he ended up staying at Atletico Madrid out of loyalty due to the club’s transfer ban which prevented them from signing players.

Griezmann is available for €100 million (£88m) due to a release clause in his contract with Atletico and United were ready to make a fresh move for the forward.

But according to The Sun, Griezmann has rejected United and has agreed to join Barcelona, who will pay his buyout clause.

Griezmann has trained alongside Paul Pogba this week with France’s national team and the due admitted that they would like to play for the same club one day.

‘If only we could do this every day,’ Pogba said in an interview with Canal+. Griezmann replied: ‘That would be great. But hey, that doesn’t mean I’m going to go to Manchester United.’ Pogba then added: ‘The whole year together, winning trophies. I really hope we’re going to do that one day.’
