Alexis Sanchez hints that he wants to stay in north London

Arsenal forward Alexis Sanchez has apparently dropped a hint over his future with a cryptic message on social media.

The Gunners star took to Instagram ahead of his side’s Premier League clash with Everton to share an image of himself in an Arsenal kit.

Posted alongside the photograph was the message: “A winner is just a loser that tried it one more time.”

And it seems many Gunners supporters are confident that this is Sanchez’s way of telling the fanbase he is willing to stay and fight for his team.

One fan commenting on the picture wrote: “You gives us hope Alexis. Hope to keep on supporting the club.”

While another added: “Alexis is a Gunner,” and a third concluded: “So this means you are signing?”

Sanchez had been strongly linked with a move away from the north London club in the summer, with Manchester City keen to offer an escape route.

But the Chilean, who has yet to sign a new contract with Arsenal, stayed put as the Gunners were unable to bring in a suitable replacement in time.
