Akpabio appoints Tribune ex-editor, Jackson Udom, as CPS

Minister of Niger Delta Affairs, Sen. Godswill Akpabio, has appointed a former political editor with the Nigerian Tribune, Mr Jackson Udom, as his Chief Press Secretary (CPS).

The appointment was made public on Tuesday, in a statement by his Chief of Staff (CoS), Sir Etekamba Umoren,

The appointment, according to Umoren, takes immediate effect.

Udom was appointed to replace the former occupant of the office, Mr Aniete Ekong, who has been reassigned to another office.

Until his new appointment, Udom is the publisher of an online news medium, Pees Reporters.com.

The media expert, was a staff with the Nigerian Tribune from 1999 to 2011,  when he left to take up his first appointment as a media aide to Senator Akpabio, who was then the governor of Akwa Ibom State.

Jackson Udom, is the proprietor of Pees Fun Plaza, a hidden paradise in Ibadan, located at Awotan, Apete, in Ido Local Government Area of Oyo state.
