Akanbi a true progressive, Senate President Lawan hails Oyo APC chieftain @59

Nigeria’s Senate President, Ahmed Lawan has congratulated former Senator Adesoji Akanbi on the occasion of his 59th birthday, describing him as ‘a reliable and dependable ally and indeed ; a core progressive’.

Senator Lawan, in a telephone conversation with the celebrant, also paid a glowing tribute to him for his outstanding contributions to the unity of the progressives’ family.

“Your consistent display of unwavering allegiance to the unity, peace and progress of the party is legendary and worthy of commendation; it outrightly exhibits your adroitness, capacity and vibrancy.

“As you mark this auspicious occasion, I wish to join your teeming well-wishers in praying to Almighty Allah to grant you more wisdom and sound health to continue to serve the people,” he said.
