Professor Adeolu Akande, Chairman Nigerian Communications Commission (NCC) has expressed shock over the death of former Governor of Oyo State, Otunba Adebayo ALAO-AKALA, describing him as an astute politician, political leader whose heart was full of compassion for the people .
While sympathizing with his immediate family, the good people of Ogbomosholand, his political associates, APC members and the entire people of Oyo State, Akande, in a statement urged them not to be despondent as the ex- governor died a fulfilled man with enviable accomplishments worthy of celebration.
The statement read, “It may not just be a coincidence that Otunba’s transition came almost immediately after that of great monarchs who joined their ancestors very recently- the Soun of Ogbomosho and the Olubadan of Ibadan, but rather a devine attestation to his kingly stature and unarguable greatness while with us.
“May God and the heavenly angels accord his soul a befitting reception, forgive his shortcomings and fortify those he left behind”, the statement concluded
