Ajimobi’s death, a bitter pill to swallow – Buhari

Senator Abdulfatai Buhari on Thursday described the death of former governor of Oyo state,  Senator Abiola Ajimobi as a bitter pill that can not be easily swallowed.

Buhari,  representing Oyo North Senatorial District said,  “I received the news with disbelieve because I was hopeful that he would come back to us alive”.

The lawmaker who served as Special Adviser and Commissioner under the late governor lamented that his death, though came at a time we least expected but that is the will of Almighty Allah.

“I have lost a brother, benefactor and political leader, it is indeed a sad moment we can only pray to Almighty Allah to forgive his sins and comfort us

Senator Buhari who is the chairman Senate committee on Land Transport added  that we are consoled with the fact that he left a good legacy which he would forever be remembered for.

“I pray that Almighty God will continue to grant him eternal rest and comfort his immediate, extended and political family”, Buhari concluded.
