Ajimobi to visit late Oyo speaker’s country home, Lanlate today

THE Oyo state governor, Senator Abiola Ajimobi is billed to visit the late Speaker’s country home, Lanlate in Ibarapa East Local Government Area today, Mega Icon Magazine reliably gathered.

Our reporter learnt that the governor’s visit is to commiserate with the family of the deceased and the entire people of the zone over the death of the Speaker, Hon. Michael Adeyemo.

Adeyemo, who represented Ibarapa East State Constituency died at Jericho General Hospital in Ibadan, the state capital, on Friday.

According to reports, the All Progressives Congress (APC) lawmaker died of a heart attack.

It would be recalled that the governor, who was on official assignment outside the state had to rush down to Ibadan yesterday when the news was broken to him, and headed straight to the Anatomy Department of the University of Ibadan where the late Speaker’s remains were kept.

Also, Ajimobi, had earlier spoke with the family members and the large number of sympathizers on ground.

Cabinet members, among others are expected to be part of the governor’s entourage.
