AS the day of the official commissioning of International College of Arts, Science and Technology, ICAST’s Ultra-modern Hostel comes nearer, various dignitaries invited to the epoch-making event have started signifying their intentions to attend the occasion.
Leading the pack of these eminent personalities is the number one citizen in Oyo State, His Excellency, Sen. Abiola Ajimobi who has acknowledged the invitation letter and has pledged to make himself available. Same also goes for his deputy, Otunba Moses Alake Adeyemo.
Other dignitaries who have also pledged their presence are the speaker of Oyo State House of Assembly and Oyo State Commissioner for Education, Rt. Hon. Michael Adeyemo and Prof. Adeniyi Olowofela respectively.
A former Special Adviser on Strategy to the Vice President, Atiku Abubakar and Oyo State gubernatorial hopeful, Prof. Adeolu Akande who will deliver a key note address and Honourable members of the federal House of Representatives, Hon. Bosun Oladele and Hon. Dapo Lam-Adesina have all signified their intentions to grace the event.
Chief Akin Oke, the Chairman, Oyo State All Progressive Congress (APC) and Dr. Abib Olamitoye, a former Special Adviser to Oyo State Governor on Health who will be the father of the day and chairman of the occasion respectively have also expressed their readiness to show up.
The Multi-million naira hostel which is situated within the school’s vicinity is expected to redifine boarding school when it eventually starts accommodating students during the next academic session as it is completed with world-class infrastructure.
