The N5bn fraud case against former Aviation Minister Stella Oduah has been transferred to the Attorney General of the Federation (AGF), as revealed by AGF’s counsel David Kaswe in court.
Kaswe informed the proceedings that a letter was sent to the EFCC requesting the defendants’ case file, which is still pending release.
Seeking an adjournment, Kaswe was reminded by the trial judge, Justice Inyang Ekwo, of the court’s order for the AGF to take over, stating that writing to the EFCC was unnecessary.
Despite the recent change in EFCC’s leadership, Kaswe acknowledged it.
The judge subsequently postponed the matter until March 28, 2024.”
