Adetayo provides free medical services to hundreds in Oyo {photos}

A member of the Nigerian Youth Parliament, Prince Adetayo Adekunle representing Oyo Central Senatorial District in Oyo State has successfully organised a free health programme.

No fewer than hundreds of residents of Oyo metropolis benefitted from the free health mission which was held on Saturday at Akeetan Primary Healthcare Center in Oyo West LGA.

Speaking at the event, the convener, Prince Adetayo noted that health is wealth, just as he stressed the importance of regular checkups and thorough medical screening, saying “a regular checkup is also an opportunity to reassess risk for various health conditions as family history, lifestyle, and other factors may change from year to year and affect risk profile”.

Also, the Baale of Akeetan, Chief Jimoh Oyeleye and the Chief Imam of the Community, Sheikh Sulaiman, in their separate remarks commended the young parliamentarian for the laudable initiative.

Beneficiaries of the medical outreach, who were excited thanked the convener for the gesture.
