THE family of late Senator Isiaka Adeleke of Osun West Senatorial District who recently succumbed to death has reiterated that the state government decision for setting up coroner inquest into the death of their son was an attempt to serve political interest.
The family, however rejected the coroner inquest alleging that the result was already predetermined by the Osun state government.
Addressing journalists in Ede, the country home of the deceased, his immediate younger brother, Dr Deji Adeleke challenged the state government to explain to the people why it is in her hurry to order the inquest when the report of autopsy ordered by the Adeleke Family is yet to be delivered.
Adeleke stressed, “the family has resolved not to participate nor cooperate with the panel which was clearly set up to establish it’s own self serving facts”.
He, therefore warned the medical team conducting the autopsy not to release the result to anyone except the family to avoid sanctions of the law.
Adeleke further condemned the continued politicization of the death of the late lawmaker, while urging the people of the state to disapprove the inquest into their brother’s death.
