Opetunsin gave the advice on Friday in Abuja.

He said that filling stations should endeavor to discharge fuel at night when the weather was cool.

“Filling stations should discharge fuel at night when there is no sun because any spark while discharging fuel during the daytime could be disastrous,” Opetunsin explained.

The ACG said that the agency’s Fire Prevention and Protection Unit alongside the Enforcement Unit had been sensitising filling station attendants on how to effectively discharge fuel.
