52nd year anniversary: Ambode to deliver Ladoke Akintola memorial lecture in Ibadan

GOVERNOR Akinwumi Ambode of Lagos State has been billed to deliver  a lecture at the 2018 edition of Ladoke Akintola Memorial anniversary Lecture in Ibadan, the Oyo state capital.
The lecture which is scheduled  to hold at the parliamentary building on 11th January, 2018  is to commemorate the 52nd year anniversary of the death of the late premier of western region, Ladoke Akintola.
Contained in a press statement issued and signed by  Ladoke Akintola Foundation’s Coordinator,  Yemi Adedokun, Governor Ambode will speak on ‘National Integration and National Development’ while his Osun state counterpart,  Rauf Aregbesola of alongside Governor Ifeanyi Okowa of Delta state and Governor Aminu Tambuwa of Sokoto state are the lead discussant.
He disclosed further that  Prof. O. B. C. Nwolise will speak on the topic : Akintola & Self Government, Chairman Barr. Adegboyega Awomalo while Chief Richard Akinjide is the father of the day.
Adeokun  also added that the reconstructed statue of the late sage, Samuel Ladoke Akintola at the parliamentary junction will be unveiled by the Oyo state governor, Senator Abiola Ajimobi.
Apart from the governors,  other dignitaries expected to grace the occasion include traditional rulers,  scholars, doyen of industry, top government officials and students from primary, secondary and tertiary institutions.
