3sc boss urges fans to cheer team to success.

FOOTBALL fans and supporters of Shooting Stars Football Club (3SC) have been enjoined to always troop out en masse to support the team in its home matches as the second stanza of the league begins on Sunday.

The Executive Chairman of 3sc, Mr. Gbolagade Busari made this call at the weekend while shedding light on the preparations of the team towards the second part of the league, stressing that the support of the fans against Ifeanyi Uba on Sunday will propel the team to a desirable position on the league table

Busari assured that the team is fully prepared for the league and the not too impressive performances in the first stanza have been put behind, promising  that the team will pick up from where it stopped before the league went on break.

He said, “we had mixed performances during the first part of the league. There was a period when our performances were poor and we played so many draws consecutively. However, we picked up and our performances improved.

“We did not achieve this alone. The successes we recorded were because of the believe and support of our fans and all football lovers in the state. They support us spiritually, financially and physically with their presence at our matches.

“Their assessments of the team helped us to raise the bar and it serves as motivation for our players. We thank them for always being there for us and we will like to urge them not to relent in supporting us.

“The presence and cheers of our fans have motivated the team to victory on many occasions and we appeal to them to continue with this. Starting from our first match against Ifeanyi Uba, we want our supporters to troop out enmasse to support the team on Sunday and in subsequent matches.

“Our plan is to hit the ground running immediately and we want our fans to be with us as they have always been doing. We call on them to continue to have faith in us and support the team to a good position on the league table,” Busari urged.
