2023: SWAGA unveils Tinubu’s North Central Agenda in Kwara

  • Olupo of Ajase-Ipo says Tinubu is tested and trusted

 

The South West Agenda for Asiwaju (SWAGA’23) last Tuesday unveiled the North Central Agenda for Asiwaju (NCA’23) in Ilorin, Kwara State.

The event held at Kwara Hotels, Ilorin was witnessed by the Chairman of All Progressives Congress (APC) in the state, Hon. Sunday Fagbemi, the Vice-Chairman, Hon. Olabanji Olayemi, Otunba Christopher ‘Dele Alabi, Segun Omotunde, Umar Jimada, Fatai Jimada, among others.

In his address, the Central Coordinator for North Central Agenda for Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu, Alhaji Ibrahim Raji explained that the group is an arm of SWAGA’23 working together to ensure that the former governor of Lagos State, Sen. Bola Ahmed Tinubu wins the APC primaries and the general elections in 2023.

Unveiling the North Central Agenda, Kwara State Chapter, the National Chairman of SWAGA’23, Sen. Dayo Adeyeye informed that all support groups for Tinubu in Kwara State have agreed to come under one umbrella that is NCA/SWAGA’23, saying “we are one United body now and we speak with one voice “.

Adeyey, however, enjoined them to continue to work towards a common goal of ensuring the emergence of Tinubu at both the primaries and the general Elections.

SWAGA’23 had earlier visited the Emir of Ilorin, Dr. Zulu Gambari, the Olofa of Offa, Oba Mufutau Oloyede Gbadamosi Okikiola Esuwoye II, and the Olupo of Ajase-Ipo, Oba Ismail Bolaji Yahaya Muhammed Atoloye II.

The monarchs pledged their support for the emergence of the APC leader as the next President of Nigeria.

At the palace of the Olofa of Offa to receive the group was an assemblage of notable traditional rulers from Ekiti Division and Oke Ero Division of Kwara State with the Olofa-in-Council who all assured the entourage of the support of their people for Tinubu.

Also commenting, the Olupo of Ajase-Ipo, Oba Ismail Bolaji Yahaya Muhammed Atoloye II. described the former governor of Lagos state as the right man for the job as he “has been tested and substantially trusted”. He prayed for his success at the polls.

The event also had in attendance SWAGA’23 National women coordinator, Hon Ayo Omidiran, Hon Oye Ojo, the National Secretary Hon. ‘Bosun Oladele, the treasurer, Apostle Oloruntoba Oke, Hon. Ifedayo Abegunde, Hon.Gani Dauda Hon.Deji Jakande, Hon.Akeem Muniru, Hon. Eni Omosule, Hon. Mukaila Musa.
