The presidential candidate of the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC), Bola Tinubu has named Kabiru Masari as his running mate for the 2023 elections.
Electoral umpire – the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) had given Friday, June 17th, as deadline for the submission of the names.
An APC chieftain, Kabiru Faskari made this known while featured on Channels Television’s Politics Today, monitored by Mega Icon Magazine on Friday,
Faskari noted that picking Kabiru, who hails from Katsina State, does not violate the country’s laws as against the clamour for a Muslim/Christian APC ticket.
The APC’s decision followed the deadline given by the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) for presidential candidates to submit the names of their running mates.
