Rising from its Central Working Committee meeting, the foremost support group for the APC Presidential Candidate; Bola Ahmed Tinubu; SWAGA’23 has resolved to continue its grassroots campaign and mobilisation for its principal to ensure his victory at the polls in 2023.
SWAGA ‘23 in a statement signed by its National Chairman, Senator Dayo Adeyeye, and National Secretary, Hon. Bosun Oladele, respectively, the group thanked all delegates at the last APC presidential primaries for voting the former governor of Lagos state as the Presidential Candidate of the party, commending all its members for their untiring efforts in propagating its Principal as the best candidate to fly the flag APC at the general elections.
The statement read, “It is quite commendable that all members of SWAGA’23 worked not only voluntarily but relentlessly and passionately in ensuring the emergence of Asiwaju Tinubu at the Primaries. We must thank our affiliates too; Akwa Ibom Stakeholders for Asiwaju Tinubu (AKISAT), Delta State for Bola Ahmed Tinubu (DESBAT), and the North Central Agenda for Asiwaju (NCA). They all have made immeasurable contributions to sensitizing the populace to the need for Asiwaju Tinubu to emerge as the Presidential flag bearer of the APC. As the saying goes, “the reward for hard work is more work” now that the first stage of the process is over and won by our principal, we must embark on the final and crucial stage which is the general elections and the race to the Presidential Villa. Our group SWAGA’23 must therefore continue at the forefront of the campaign and mobilization at the grassroots for support and votes to win the race for our Principal.
“We must appreciate our principal for according us this recognition and responsibility at this time and we undertake neither to relent nor disappoint.
“We shall therefore embark on our mapped-out programs very soon and we urge our members and affiliate groups to be ready for the mother-of-all campaigns. Together with God, Victory is assured”, the statement added.
