Kwara state chapter of the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP has reiterated that it is repositioning itself to win next year’s governorship election in the state.
The state chairman of the party, Iyiola Oyedepo stated this during the party’s peace meeting held in Ilorin.
Oyedepo urged the party faithful to bury their hatchets and work together in harmony in order to displace the ruling APC government in the forth coming election billed for next year.
The PDP boss also vowed to run an all-inclusive government which shall take care of all party members as well as reposition the party to take over the mantle of leadership in Kwara state.
Similarly, Professor Shuayb Oba-Abduraheem, a chieftain of the party, however enjoined the members to work in unity and avoid mistakes of the past which denies them victory in the state.
It would be recalled that the party had been engaged in leadership scuffle for several years until November 2017 when the state congress produced the Oyedepo-led executive.
