Princess Taiwo Adetunji, who is one of the daughters of Olubadan of Ibadan, Oba Saliu Adetunji has declared her intention to contest the Oyo State House of Assembly seat under the platform of the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC), in the 2019 general elections.
Princess Adetunji is currently aspiring for Ibadan South West I State Constituency.
The foremost monarch’s daughter, on Thursday, while addressing hundreds of her supporters and members of the party at the constituency’s secretariat in Ibadan informed that her willingness to serve her people and the importance of getting what they need made her joined politics.

The aspirant, who had a bachelor degree in Economics Education from the Lagos State University (LASU) Ojo and masters degree in Finance from the Ladoke Akintola University further maintained that she was not taking advantage of her position as one of the children of Olubadan .
