Jason Cummings smashes up his own flat as shock footage emerges of Scotland international

Staggering footage shows Scotland international Jason Cummings appearing to smash up his own flat.

The Peterborough United striker, on loan from Nottingham Forest, was filmed launching objects, including a TV which looked to crack the window.

The 60-second video, which appears to have come from Snapchat, was accompanied with the caption: “Smashing up his own gaff.”

Cummings has had a great start to the season with Peterborough, winning the League One Player of the Month award for August after notching six goals.

He was taken off during the 3-2 win at Southend on Saturday, being replaced by Ivan Toney who would go on to score the 87th-minute winner.

Peterborough currently top League One after six wins and a draw from their opening seven matches.

Cummings has shone under the guidance of Steve Evans since moving to London Road, and spoke last week of Posh having the closest-knit changing room he’s known in football.

“Last season, when I was at Rangers, all the Scottish lads sat at one table — and the foreign boys at another. There isn’t any divide here.

“We all get on and are close mates. We all meet up after training and do things together — go to dinner, the cinema, whatever.

“It kind of shows on the pitch that we’re a close-knit bunch of boys.

“It’s the closest changing room I have ever been in and I think that helps massively.”

Cummings was cast out on loan by Nottingham Forest boss Aitor Karanka in the summer, having failed to impress the Spaniard at the City Ground.

He has previously featured for Rangers and Hibernian in the Scottish Premiership.
