The federal government, on Wednesday, disclosed that the management of tech giant, Twitter, has reached out for dialogue.

Lai Mohammed, the Minister of Information and Culture, made this known while addressing State House correspondents after the Federal Executive Council.

According to him, the ban has so far been very effective following reports of Twitter’s huge financial losses running into billions.

He maintained that Twitter has been a platform of choice for separatists to thrive and would be disallowed from operating until it is duely registered, licensed, and operates within regulations.

When asked about the law under which Nigerians who violate the Twitter ban would be prosecuted, the minister refrained from answering and asked that the Attorney General of the federation provide answers.

Lai Mohammed, however, insisted on the ban and asked politicians to rise beyond various divisions and queue behind the country’s decision to ban the microblogging site.

Lai Mohammed, former Minister of Information and Culture, on Tuesday said some remarks attributed to him on social media should be disregarded.

Mohammed, who is President Muhammadu Buhari’s ministerial nominee recalled that his grandson once asked him if he was a liar.

The former Minister had been called out on social media for lying to cover-up the current All Progressives Congress, APC-led Federal Government.

However, speaking during his ministerial confirmation screening on the floor of the senate, Mohammed said: “Don’t believe social media, they call me all sorts of names. My seven-year-old grandson once asked me if my name was Liar Mohammed.”

Following his submission, the Ogun Central Senator, Ibikunle Amosun said Mohammed should be allowed to take a bow and go.

“We have all agreed that he will be allowed to take a bow and go. There is no need to ask him questions,” he said.

Also Bamidele Opeyemi, Senator representing Ekiti Central, said Mohammed’s ministerial nomination in 2015 was compensation from Buhari.

The Senate had on Tuesday last week commenced the screening of the ministerial nominees Buhari sent to them for confirmation among whom was Mohammed.

The nominees include: Chris Ngige, Babatunde Fashola, Hadi Sirika, Rotimi Amaechi, Adamu Adamu, Mohammed Adamu, and Lai Mohammed.

Others in the list are: Uche Ogah, Emeka Nwajuiba, Sadiya Farouk, Musa Bello, Godswill Akpabio, Sharon Ikeazor, Ogbonnaya Onu, Akpa Udo, and Adebayo (Ekiti), Timipre Sylva, Adamu Adamu, Shewuye (Borno), Isa Pantami, Gbemi Saraki, Ramatu Tijani, Clement Abam.

Also listed among the nominees are: Rauf Aregbesola, Paullen Tallen, Abubakar Aliyu, Sale Mamman, Abubakar Malami, Muhammed Mamood, Mustapha Buba Jedi Agba, Olamilekan Adegbite, and Mohammed Dangyadi.

Federal Government of Nigeria has assured that the Presidential Inauguration Day and National Democracy Day will be safe for foreign dignitaries and world leaders coming into the country.

The Minister of Information and Culture, Lai Mohammed, gave this assurance at a world press conference in Abuja, where he reeled out the program of events for days leading to both programs.

According to him, “I can assure you Nigeria is safe for all the world leaders to come and attend.

“Swear-in of the President and Vice President is slated for Wednesday, May 29 at the Eagles Square, followed by a state banquet at the state house in the evening of the same day.”

The minister also added that the Democracy Day celebration, which will kick-off on June 7, will feature three main events, and end with a parade and Gala night on June 12.

“The events celebrating the June 12 and Democracy Day will kick-off on Friday, June 7 and Tuesday, June 11 will feature three events; the PMB oratorical contest at ICC, an Anti-corruption summit at Transcorp Hilton and the First Lady’s commissioning programme in Yola, Adamawa State.”

“Wednesday, June 12 will start off with a parade at the eagle square and the democracy programme will wrap up with a dinner and gala night at the statehouse conference centre”, he added.

Mr Mohammed also hinted that the Federal Government has declared May 29 and June 12 as public holidays to mark the events.

“On the issue of public holiday, I believe that May 29 still remains a public holiday, of course, June 12, the National Assembly has proclaimed a national holiday.”

President of the Senate, Dr. Abubakar Bukola Saraki has said the insultive statements made against him in Ilorin by former Governor of Lagos State, Bola Ahmed Tinubu, the National Chairman of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Adams Oshiomhole and Minister of Information, Lai Mohammed, were expression of their frustration over the imminent loss of their party in next Saturday election.

Saraki in a statement signed by his Special Adviser (Media and Publicity),Yusuph Olaniyonu, stated that the APC leaders know that their party will definitely lose the presidential and National Assembly elections on February 16, and that was why in their desperate mood they were only hurling abuses instead of discussing issues and telling the people what they will do for them.

“They came to Kwara State to hurl insults at me and my people, instead of explaining to the people what they want to do differently and what contributions their flagbearers and other leaders in the State have made to our various communities to justify the people shifting their loyalty to their dying party. They promised nothing concrete that will improve the standard of living of the people and provide infrastructure.

“They have only come to Kwara to vindicate my position that they have no good plans for Kwara State and its people. It is obvious that the APC have nothing to offer Kwarans. They represent nothing good for our people. My problem with them has always been that after we worked with our people to support them to win in 2015, they refused to work on infrastructure and other policy issues that can bring direct benefit to our people.

“As for Tinubu, we have never expected any good words from him. All his life, he will continue to belly ache and nurse grudges over my opposition to the Muslim-Muslim ticket idea in 2015. As far as he is concerned, I stopped him from realizing his ambition then. However, I believe my action then and now is in pursuit of national interest. Again, I supported President Buhari in 2015 because I believe he could make a positive change. I left the party when I realized he lacked the capacity and the desire to make any change.

“Tinubu on his own part said though he agreed with me about my assessment of the man, he would continue to support Buhari even if the man had to govern from the hospital stretcher because that is the way he ( Tinubu) could become the President in 2023. So, while my position is premised on national interest, Tinubu’s is based on his personal interest and ambition. Now that Tinubu’s new speciality is to hurl insults at people like former President Olusegun Obasanjo and former Vice President Atiku Abubakar, focusing on me today is okay if it will help him feel good.

“It is surprising that a man like Tinubu will be talking about morality and corruption. This is a man whose disrepute is known both within and outside Nigeria. This is somebody who personifies everything that is wrong with the Nigerian system. Well, I am not ready to roll in the gutter with him. Unlike them, I will stay on the issues that are germaine to national development and the welfare of our people.

“However, let me make it clear that what Tinubu and his putative party chairman, Oshiomhole did today is to insult the people of Kwara State who are independent minded, forward looking, assertive and God- fearing. On Saturday, the APC will be punished for their bad behaviour. Kwarans will tell them that they cannot take dictates from power mongers, pretenders and hypocrites. The people of Kwara State will never take dictates from selfish individuals. Their evil design will be thwarted on Saturday and March 3”, Saraki stated.

The Minister of Information and Culture, Lai Mohammed, says a vote for the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), presidential candidate, Atiku Abubakar, in the 2019 election is a return to “a sordid corruption lading past.”

The Minister stated this on Monday in Abuja when he paid advocacy visit to the headquarters of Daar Communication Plc, owner of African Independent Television (AIT) and Raypower Radio stations.

The News Agency of Nigeria (NAN) reports the minister was at the media house to drum support for the National Campaign Against Fake News launched by the federal government on July 11.

Fielding questions from members of Board and Management of Daar Communication and some journalists at the event, the minister expressed the confidence that Nigerians would make the right choice in President Muhammadu Buhari in 2019.

“The stark choice for Nigerians in the 2019 election is either to go back to the past – a sordid corruption lading past – or a brighter future, which beckons as represented by President Muhammadu Buhari.

“I am, however, very confident that Nigerians will make the right choice,” he said.

On the fake news phenomenon, the minister said it was assuming a dangerous dimension, especially as the nation approached the 2019 general elections.

He disclosed how fake news was used to almost scuttle the recent Osun governorship election won by the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC).

Mr Mohammed also said the recent fake news on the release of Sharibu Leah from Boko Haram captivity had serious security implications.

“There is no better time to intensify the campaign against fake news, especially as we approach the 2019 general elections.

“The enemies of democracy will explore the phenomenon of fake news even more than before.

As you witnessed in the last Osun governorship election, especially the rerun, about 16 PDP members were arrested by the Police for impersonating international observers to perpetrate violence.

“But, within minutes, the whole story was turned as if it was APC stalwarts that were arrested. This is the power of fake news.”

The minister continued: “A few days ago also, news circulated in the social media that Sharibu Leah has been released.

“You can imagine how much trauma this would have caused the parents of Leah, the embarrassment it has caused the country, as well as its security implications.

“This is why we believe that fake news, if not checked or stopped, it has the potential to destroy than a civil war,” he said.

The minister also reiterated that the Farmers/Herdsmen clashes were being given ethnic and religious coloration by the fake news purveyors to cause crises in the country.

He stressed that the clashes were as a result of demography, climate change which necessitated struggle for scarce resources and in some cases, sheer criminality.

(NAN)

Lai Mohammed, minister of information and culture, has disclosed that he will not be contesting any position in the 2019 general election.

He said this at a meeting within the week in Ilorin, Kwara state.

Lai said he would rather work with others to protect the interests of the state and its people.

He challenged stakeholders in the state to sacrifice personal ambition for the collective interest.

“We can’t and won’t lose the looming battle for the survival of our dear state and people,” he said.

“All that is required is for us all to subordinate our individual ambitions to the collective efforts, work to wrest our state from the hegemony of one man and his cohorts.

“On my own part, I can say here without equivocation that I won’t be running for any office during the forthcoming elections. For me, it is not about any clamour for office. It is about working with all like-minds for the greater benefit of our people.”

President Muhammadu Buhari has said that Minister of information, Lai Mohammed disobeyed him by responding to former President Olusegun Obasanjo’s allegations against him.

Buhari said he earlier stopped his Special Adviser on Media and Publicity, Femi Adesina from replying Obasanjo’s allegation against his administration because of his (Adesina’s) age.

The president stated this when members of Buhari Support Organisation visited him at the Presidential Villa, Abuja, on Friday night.

He further noted that the other reason he never bothered to reply Obasanjo was that he and the former president were from the same (military) constituency.

“I really appreciate how you choose this time during Ramadan to come from across the country to see and congratulate me for what we were able to do.

“We were constraint to explain our position when the former head of state wrote a letter; Adesina was agitated and wanted to immediately reply; I stopped him for two reasons; first, he was much younger than me and Gen. Obasanjo.

“Secondly, I am from the same constituent with Gen. Obasanjo; so, I wouldn’t know how it will affect him if I allow him to go wild or to go public, but when Lai Mohammed came, I said he shouldn’t and he insisted. He disobeyed me.

“He said I must allow him to talk; then, of course, being a professionally information person, I listened to him and asked him what are going to say.

“He said he was going to remind Nigerians where we found ourselves when we came in as a government, where we are now, what we have done in between with the resources available to us.

“And I understand he did a good job because a number of people rang me and said Lai Mohammed has done a good job because I went public in several times.

“I said it is on record and I challenged anybody to check from Europe, United States and Asia that between 1999 and 2014 the 16 years of previous administration there was an average of 2.1 million per day of crude oil at the average cost of 100 dollars per barrel,’’ Buhari said.

Former Minister of Aviation and current senator representing Anambra North Senatorial District, Senator Stella Oduah has said that up till date she has not seen any evidence against her concerning the recently released looters list by the federal government and that the allegation involving the said sum of N9.8 billion is not only untrue but laughable.

Oduah further challenged the Minister of Information and Culture, Alhaji Lai Mohammed to provide evidence linking her with the alleged N9.8 billion, saying: ‘All allegations made against me remain mere media sensations orchestrated for mere political reasons.

‘Oftentimes, I ignore them believing the orchestrators would repent after several failed outings. Mis-using the media and misleading the society through the media at the expense of innocent citizens in order to win a medal is unfortunate and most irresponsible. Governance is not warfare.

Calumny is evil ‘I challenge Lai Mohammed to provide evidence linking me with his wild allegations. I have been waiting for that evidence and I am yet to see any.’ The Federal Government on Sunday released more list of looters in Peoples’ Democratic Party (PDP), saying that the list of alleged looters which it released earlier was based on verifiable facts, including the amount involved, the date the amount in question was collected and from where it was taken. Some of the looters as listed by the Minister of Information and Culture, Alhaji Lai Mohammed, include “Lt.-Gen. Azubuike Ihejirika: N4.5 billion. N29m recovered by the EFCC so far.

“Alex Barde, former Chief of Defence Staff: N8 billion, and EFCC recovered almost N4 billion in cash and property already. “Inde Dikko: former CG Customs: N40 billion, and N1.1 billion in cash recovered in cash and choice properties. “Air Marshal Adesola Amosun: N21.4 billion. N2.8 billion recovered in cash. 28 properties and 3 vehicles also recovered. “Senator Bala Abdulkadir, former FCT Minister: N5 billion. Interim forfeiture order on some property secured. “Senator Stella Oduah: N9.8 billion.

Interim forfeiture order on some property secured. “Former Niger State Governor Babangida Aliyu: N1.6 billion – from NSA.

Read Stella Oduah’s full statement ‘My attention has been drawn to the illusionary list of looters released by Lai Mohammed in which, by treachery or by happenstance, my name featured. ‘It is worrisome how a serving Minister could condescend so low in what appeared like a childish altercation to start mentioning names of his alleged looters without verified or verifiable facts, in order to win what he considered a quarrel.

‘In deliberately taking on those he considered prominent in the achievements of the past administration, he mentioned my name against an allegation of a whooping sum of N9.8 billion naira. But for the records, I would have simply ignored him since his notoriety in making false and laughable statements has gained prominence in recent times. ‘Record has it that my achievements as the Aviation Minister are unbeatable till date.

I did not engage in any financial impropriety as the Minister and the allegation involving the said sum of N9.8 billion is not only untrue but laughable. ‘The said contract awarded by the Ministry of Aviation under my watch was executed and based on the request of the contractors, they were paid their money which they utilized in the manner they did. ‘The records are still with the Ministry.

I have no business with the companies that took part in executing that contract and till now, I do not understand how anything went wrong over that contract that was executed. ‘I have never taken any illegal proceeds from the government purse. God had since blessed me tremendously before I joined politics in the quest to serve my country and I remain content and grateful to God. ‘The trend of harassing past office holders with false and malicious allegations to score a political point destroys rather than helps the integrity of the anti-corruption stance of the government and indeed makes holding public office very discouraging.

‘The machines seized/forfeited by the Federal Government over the allegation on the said money are not mine. ‘I challenge Lai Mohammed to provide evidence linking me with his wild allegations. I have been waiting for that evidence and I am yet to see any.

‘All allegations made against me remain mere media sensations orchestrated for mere political reasons. Oftentimes, I ignore them believing the orchestrators would repent after several failed outings. Mis-using the media and misleading the society through the media at the expense of innocent citizens in order to win a medal is unfortunate and most irresponsible. Governance is not warfare. Calumny is evil. ‘May God help our country.’

THE news filtered like a rumor two weeks ago that the workers of one of the parastatals under the Ministry of Information, National Orientation and Culture being superintended by Alhaji Lai Mohammed , Nigeria tourism development Corporation, NTDC would not only embark on a protest but would shut down the complex.

And in confirmation of the supposed rumor, the Union officials on Wednesday ensured that they did not only embarked on the protest but equally made good their promise and shut the complex down located at the old Federal Government Secretariat, Area 1 Garki , Abuja.

One fundamental issue is the right of the workers to embark on a protest, strike or lockout. This right is even an internationally acceptable recognized one sanctioned by International Labour Organisation, ILO.

Hence only an illiterate by option will dumbly believe that a set of workers acting collectively or under an association has no right to make lawful and reasonable protest or embark on strike action within the ambit or the confines of the law to majorly talk about their welfare and canvass for better condition of service where there are defects.

Strike, sit outs, protests are legitimate tools created by law and as vistas for workers to peacefully and decently express their worries, call attention to their welfare, caution the management, make opinions, suggestions and call the attention of the management to progressive correctional issues.

It is only an irresponsible Union who will sit or stand akimbo and jolly with the management while the welfare, working condition, and rights of the workers are being trampled upon or not attended to.

Thus, it is not strange for Union leaders to call their members out either to strike, sit out, protest if there are genuine reasons and responsible justification for such.

And it is also trite in Unionism that strike, sit out and protest should be the last resorts after a sequential meeting, negotiation and ribbing minds have taken place and have broken down or there has been no point of equilibrium between the two parties – the management and the workers.

The essence of having a Union in an organisation is not absolutely for antagonism or troublemaking, Unionism is major to serve as a platform where the workers can collectively federate their observations, opinions, wish and suggestions and pass it through their leaders to the management which cannot because of time, situation and circumstances which do not allow a day to day or regular convention of the management and the workers.

In a sane clime unions are supposed to be partners in organisation development and they do because most of their leaders and officers are not just the run – off – the – mill members of the workforce but intelligent and resourcefully deep educated and enlightened men and women of integrity who cannot be bamboozled , intimidated , monetised , used or led by the nose.

Strike action is not supposed to be used as a means of blackmailing or intimidating the management. And union leaders are supposed to be clinical and detach steering off sentiment and personal loyalty when it comes to union issues, welfare and condition of service.

Union leaders should be loyal to the service not to the occupant of an office, particularly a political office as that of the Director-General.

Union leaders are first employees of the organisation before being a member of the Union and the essence of their employment is to serve the organization not to play politics.

The Union leaders should know where to draw the lines between playing Union and being dutiful at their post of responsibility.

Going by these propositions, one has no tiff with the fact that the NTDC Union leaders called their members to strike. Of course they have the rights. However, going by the pattern, trend, nature, proclaimed causes justification, sequential occurrence, intention and modus operandi of the strikes actions that have been embarked upon at NTDC tell the world that there is more to it than meet the eye .

The urge to strike reared its head immediately Mrs. Sally Mbanefo was appointed as the Director-General, NTDC in replacement of Otunba Olusegun Runsewe, a media practitioner and a boisterous personality who has the history of fighting three Tourism Ministers to a standstill.

Her appointed did not go down the throat of some people because of many reasons which include, the larger than life image of her predecessor who was very nice to the media and who has a court or cult of, workers who deferred to him due to his generosity and goodness at the expense of the nation.

Also immediately, , Sally was appointed , economic recession took over which led to the shrinking of fund available to the corporation thus putting paid to access to free fund which can be employed and deployed to be a good DG either to the press, to staff in form of foreign trips and unnecessary free largesse and frivolous allowances and claims.

Also, there was the bitterness arising from the abrupt sack of her predecessor who seemed to be angry that Sally lobbied her out the job and who still nursing the ambition of coming back to NTDC as DG as if it is the only place he can perform or the only person who can be there.

With constant interaction with the workers and the Union leaders who Sally inherited, the intrigue of the bitterness of a displaced DG who still has a lot of blind followers in NTDC with the union leader and workers who were not happy that things were not the same again, the era of strike crawled in .

An examination of the reasons, modus operadi and demand of the workers will show that the whole strike actions being embarked in NTDC are out of tune, totally unwholesome and unethical.

Let’s read excerpts from some newspapers on the previous strike

On February 25, 2015, National newspaper under the Headline “NTDC workers’ strike enters the second week”, ‘The workers have vowed to continue with the industrial action until the agency’s director general, Mrs. Sally Mbanefo, is removed from office.

Last week, official activities at the parastatals Abuja and zonal offices were stopped.

The workers, through their union, Amalgamated Union of Public Corporations, Civil Service Technical and Recreational Services Employees (AUPCTRE), have made several allegations against Mrs. Mbanefo.

They accused her of starving the agency of fund under the guise that the Federal Government was no longer funding the parastatal.

The workers accused her of “going behind to collect huge allocation from the Federal Government”.

The NTDC Chapel Chairman of AUPTCRE, Sam Unwuchola Okpomo, said as at July 2014, the Federal Government released N52,014,821 as capital budget and N342, 654,807 for training and other logistics to the agency.”

In September 3, 2015, in the Hallmark newspaper under the Headline, “Fears of sack forces NTDC boss to back down …as workers call off strike”

“It would be recalled that the protesting staff, led by Comrade Anthony Benjamin, in a memo obtained by Hallmark accused the DG of not properly mobilizing funds for the activities of the corporation as it relates to administrative functions.

They accused her of incapacitating the staff with the claim of a shortage of funds to perform the statutory functions of the corporation but overhead will be released and go out through other sources.

The staff said,” the DG does not fund the zonal offices, she will visit the zone and stop at the airport to insult the staff of the zone to their integrity by asking them to go and source for funds from affluent individuals for the running of the office. She did not even appreciate the efforts of the staff in ensuring the success of her visit to the state.

”We are tired of a DG who claims to be promoting domestic tourism but will not fund the zones offices where tourism potentials are domiciled organization but will tell the staff there in no money for official works but there is money for other fictitious travels by herself and her associates to different destinations.”

Daily Trust Sept 3 wrote

Striking NTDC workers call for DG’s removal

By Mustapha Suleiman | Publish Date: Sep 3 2015 5:47AM

‘On their demand, Comrade Kunama said: “We want her removal. She is killing the tourism sector. Except the government is not serious with tourism, but if the government wants to tap into the potentials of tourism to diversify the Nigerian economy, they have to remove her and bring in a professional that has a vision for the sector.”

The Federal government seemed to have seen through the malevolent and malicious intent of the unions or the workers and refused to pander to the unreasonable demands of the workers and refused to relief Sally of her job.

Though Sally was removed in November 2016, it should be a matter of curious logic and interest that between November 2016 and May 2017 three DGs were in quick succession appointed and removed. Two of them, career officers and the other an outsider, none of them were accepted by the Union.

And according to a presidency source, they were all removed majorly “due to the unnecessary antagonism to their appointment by the Union who was being used and manipulated and workers who engaged in writing acrimonious petition with some outsider who was willing to come back to NTDC who took solace at sponsoring media attack against the appointees’.

And the Federal Government brought in Folly Coker, who has distinguished himself in the public sector, government and a memorable tenure as Lagos State Commissioner for Tourism.

The problem of Coker according to an investigation commenced when he was moved to NTDC and he announced his love for domestic tourism as against the floundering of the meagre fund of the Corporation on not so useful foreign fair and Travel market.

The Union or workers quickly realised that Folarin Coker too being a cosmopolitan person cannot be pushed around or intimidated to do their biddings without observing the normal procedure which guide strike commence an action of December 1, 2017 when he was on a National assignment abroad.

In December 1 2017 in the Nation’s online, under the headline “Protesting workers seek sack of NTDC’s DG’

‘Activities were paralysed at the headquarters of the Nigerian Tourism Development Corporation (NTDC), on Wednesday, following a protest by workers who called for the sack of its Director General, Mr. Folorunsho Folarin Coker, for incompetence.

The workers accused Coker of highhandedness, saying the DG had not improved their welfare since his appointment.

They said they were disappointed by the “ugly development” in the corporation.

The workers noted that Coker illegally set up a project unit, which, they claimed, is not part of the NTDC’s line of activity. They said the unit was a conduit to siphon public funds.’

A few online publications graced their platforms with this news under different slants.

A cursory examination and contextual synthesis of the grievances of the workers or union under Sally Mbanefo and Coker extensively exposed the rut of a corporation.

The sole reason is “The removal of the DG without any concrete allegation or advocacy for workers “

During the tenure of Sally Mbanefo, it is shameful that none of the allegation levelled against her held waters. All allegations were unfounded and malicious. The lady was never found wanting or guilty.

Going through the protest letter sent out in 2017 against Coker, one can see that it is not only watery but of no substance.

The workers are being teleguided sheepishly by a Union which is being sponsored and used by some external elements who believe NTDC is their birthright and father’s property .

And so, unless they are posted or re- posted or their goon is there, NTDC will not have peace.

It is also a shame of the successive superintending Minister who watch as NTDC is hijacked by the Union who seems to find listening ears and cooperation of the Minister.

The fact is that NTDC needs urgent and prompt surgical operation. It is a corporation full of old doldorous pantaloons and deadwood evil servants who are loyal to persons, not the office. Some of them have no particular assignment or solids scheduled duty. The Union has been a weapon, instrument for disgruntled, selfish, inordinate ambitious, greedy person who manipulate it at will to destabilize the Corporation.

NTDC is now a pot where executive miscreants who collect salaries for doing nothing other than gossip and making themselves the carrier and implementers of wishful ambition of never- do wells who believe that NTDC is their family’s property.

The same set of crop of people used the Union to work against Sally Mbanefo, The same Union worked against three of Sally’s successors on flimsy reasons and stupid thinking.

The same Union which is being sponsored is at work now on jejune and totally silly reasons asking not for welfare or a better package but sacking of the Director – General because he is not smiling at them.

Any serious government will not only refuse to harken to their silly demands but will go a step further by appropriately restructuring and rightsizing the workers by separating those who want to work for the nation from the goons who want to play cheap politics and those who love to be used as agent of destabilization.

NTDC should be clean and straightened up. The time to act is now.

However , the symbolism of the recent phenomenal changes being injected to NTDC by Folorunso Folarin Coker via the ‘Tour Nigeria’ brand which has recorded intracontinental acceptance and acknowledgement with the historic passing of the NTDC Bill by the Senate should not be truncated .

These are signs that if NTDC is cleaned of the system rats and evil servants who have nothing to contribute than engaging in unwarranted diversionary actions like illegal strike and protests , purposeful and goal getting minds like Folorunso Folarin Coker will take the NTDC beyond the imagination of Nigeria’

Let’s the process of laundering the NTDC starts now.

Let’s reposition it for purposeful activation

Let create the ambience for productive piloting.

For Folorunso Folarin Coker has within 6 months demonstrated and signposted the ability and sagacity of a reformer .

The ball is in the court of the President Buhari and the Minister, Alhaji Lai MOHAMMED

I rest my case.
