Senator Ladoja, who spoke in Ibadan, the state capital when Governor Makinde visited him on account of his 75th birthday, urged the Governor not to relent in promoting good governance as according to him, the good people of Oyo state expect so much from his administration.

This was as Governor Makinde congratulated Ladoja, who is the Osi Olubadan of Ibadanland, on his 75thbirthday, noting that “the people of Oyo state are ever proud of the exemplary leadership qualities of the former Governor especially his relentless resolve to always stand and identify with the masses.”

The Governor wished the Osi Olubadan sound health and longevity to enable Nigerians and indeed the people of Oyo state to benefit from his immense political, industrial and traditional experience and wisdom.

In his speech, former Governor Ladoja, assured that he would always be there for Governor Makinde and the people of Oyo State, urging the Governor to make good his promise of repositioning all sectors.

He stated that the immediate past Government had squandered the resources and wealth of the state.

Ladoja also called for a good working relationship between the executive and the legislative arms of Government in Oyo State for better service delivery.

The Speaker of the Oyo State House of Assembly, Honourable Adebo Ogundoyin, who led other lawmakers to Ladoja’s residence, described him as the leader of leaders.

Ogundoyin explained that he owed his political journey so far to God and the fatherly support of the former Governor.
