Pep Guardiola was involved in a fiery clash with Wigan boss Paul Cook during the FA Cup fifth round clash.
Wigan had more than held their own against the Premier League leaders before a controversial decision on the brink of half-time.
Fabian Delph launched into a challenge on midfielder Max Power, much to the fury of the home side, with boss Cook calling for a red card on the touchline.
Referee Anthony Taylor pulled out a yellow card and appeared to write Delph’s name down.
But Taylor soon changed his mind, seemingly after speaking to his officials, and showed Delph a straight red.
The decision led to a fiery clash on the touchline as the two managers discussed the incident.
Cook also clashed with Sergio Aguero, who came over to the touchline following Delph’s dismissal.
Unsurprisingly the altercations continued into the tunnel as the two managers and their coaches exchanged verbals.
Guardiola then completely blew his top at referee Taylor as he made his way into his dressing room.
The City boss had previously complained about the rough treatment given to his side from opposition players this season.
