Kano State Election Petition Tribunal has declared the state governor, Abdullahi Ganduje of the All Progressives Congress (APC) as the winner of the March 2019 governorship elections in the state.
The Chairman of the tribunal, Justice Halima Shamaki, dismissed the petition filed by the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) and its candidate, Abba Kabir Yusuf.
Justice Shamaki in her ruling on Wednesday said that the petition was faulty as it did not follow the Electoral Act 2010 as amended.
