Buhari tasks Nigerians on service to God, humanity

THE Chairman, Senate Committee on ICT and Cybercrime, Sen Abdulfatai Buhari on Friday urged Nigerians, especially Christians to rededicate their lives to serve God, humanity and advancement of the country.

Contained in a congratulatory message to Christians at Easter, Buhari also preaches forgiveness, love and passion to help others.

According to the lawmaker, “Jesus Christ during his time was an epitome of humility, and he dedicated his entire life to the assignment he was given, the same way we Nigerians should show total commitment in making our country great”.

“The celebration of death and resurrection of Jesus Christ redeemed hope that dry bones in Nigerian situation shall rise again, if we keep faith with the leadership of the nation and act well our own path just as Jesus did in the past and till date”.

The lawmaker who is also representing Oyo North Senatorial District, however urged Christians to pray for the repose of the victims of herdsmen attacks.
