Operatives of the National Drug Law Enforcement Agency (NDLEA) has arrested a 63-year-old grandfather, Afolabi Abideen Kolawole, for allegedly shipping illicit substances to his daughter in Dubai, United Arab Emirates (UAE).
NDLEA spokesman, Femi Babafemi, in a statement on Sunday explained that Afolabi was behind an intercepted drug exhibit going to Dubai.
Afolabi’s consignment, according to the agency had earlier been intercepted on the 4th of August, he was however, arrested in Ibadan, Oyo state on Thursday 18th August after more than four sets of arrests eventually unraveled him.
The 63-year-old confessed that he was responsible for the packaging of cannabis inside the black native soap used as mode of concealment.
